What is Google Apps at USC?

Google Apps at USC provides a USC gateway to Google’s online services, allowing you to take advantage of Google’s email, productivity, and collaboration tools while maintaining your @usc.edu email name.

Can I sign up if I already have Gmail?

Yes. You will be creating a new Gmail account through Google Apps at USC. This will not affect your personal Gmail account.

How does it work?

You will use your USC password to log into Google’s web-based applications through the USC gateway. You will use a separate Google password to access your new Gmail account through a mobile device or an email program like Outlook. Once you have activated your Google Apps at USC account, you will be able to select which of Google’s services you wish to use.
